It's been decided. I will be quitting my job. I was going to hand in my notice today and finsih up just before christmas but that plan has been shelved. Most years we get a bonus of some sort (a couple of hundred dollars, or something like that) at the end ofthe year. If I tell them to shove the job now, chances are I won't get that, even if I'm still here when they're handed out. And then there's public holidays with leave loading and stuff so more free money. So, the day after I get the bonus (or discover that it doesn't exist) I'll be giving my one month's notice. That means I will probably be unemployed some time around the end of january. Woo hoo.

Of course, that means I may have to give up cricket. That's $15 a week I'll save, plus petrol. Damn, worrying about stuff like $15 a week again. Oh well. Hopefully that won't last too long.
